About the Program

One of the most widespread mental conditions of our times, depression affects millions of people all over the globe. At RHS, we counter this growing problem by offering specialized and personalized Deep Transcranial Magnetic Stimulation (TMS), which can bring about a necessary change in people.

This innovative treatment type can improve major depressive mental disorders in patients. Those who have been struggling with depression for months or years and possibly also the side-effects of strong medication, can definitely see an improvement in themselves with this treatment.

How it Works

With Deep TMS, parts of the brain, linked with depression, are stimulated. This non-invasive treatment neither needs hospitalization nor anaesthesia. It also does not give any of the side-effects patients generally experience with medication, such as insomnia and sexual dysfunction.

Deep TMS is a technique that works with a special coil that gives out a magnetic pulse that stimulates some parts of the brain. When the coil is placed on the patient’s head, he hears a clicking sound and feel a pull on his skin. He might also experience a tapping feeling.

Spread over four to six weeks, this program fits very well in anyone’s lifestyle. Twenty-minute sessions, five times a week help patients get over the depression that they find unbearable. After each session, the patient can drive away confidently.

If you have a movement disorder, such as dystonia or Parkinson’s disease, or know someone who has, come by to RHS. Our years of experience of treating similar patients will put you back on your feet.
