Depression & Stress Management

Depression is a constant feeling of sadness and loss of interest that prevents people from performing normal activities. It may last for a few weeks, a few years, or even remain a lifelong condition. Many people ignore the symptoms or are scared to reach out, fearing social ostracization. The first step toward treating depression is acknowledging that it is a common disorder. Seeking medical support as early as possible can help stop symptoms a from becoming worse.

With our exceptional team of mental health professionals, we want to provide the patients with a safe space where they can not only find the help they need, but also enjoy attentive, compassionate treatment without any shame or guilt.

Causes of Depression

The exact cause of depression has not been found yet, but doctors opine that it is a combination of many biological, psychological, social and lifestyle factors.

Personal and lifestyle factors include family history of depression, personality issues, and substance abuse.

Social and psychological factors include long-term unemployment, death of a loved one, living in an abusive relationship, long-term isolation, and prolonged stress at work.

Biological factors include disruption in normal chemical messaging processes between nerve cells in the brain.
